The outlet reported Wednesday There’s a good chance that Apple will officially announce the iPhone 14 at its next event – expected on Wednesday, September 7th. Tech journalist and seemingly prescient Apple announcement revealer Mark Gurman credits a knowledgeable source for the information. It is firmly believed that we will also see the public release of iOS 16 sometime in the same month.

Sources at Gurman say the event will be streamed, similar to Apple’s recent keynote presentation. This time around, Gurman believes we’ll see the larger 6.7-inch model appear alongside the standard iPhone 14, rather than the smaller 5.4-inch model Apple has previously released.

Other expectations for the new iPhone 14 include a redesigned front-facing camera cutout for more overall screen real estate. It’s also expected that the likely Pro model will use a processor larger than the A15 chip found in most current iPhones, as well as an improved camera system, the benefits of which will also extend to the Pro’s video recording capabilities and operational battery life.
In addition to the iPhone 14, which is expected to be released on September 7, Gurman also reported that the new iPhone will be released next week On Friday, Sept. 16, some retail employees said they had been told to look forward to a “significant new product release” date. Apple has yet to make an official comment on a release date or pricing.
