If you already use Blue Buffalo products, you can redeem points (earned by doing basic actions in the app, such as setting up a pet profile or talking to a pet lover) for treats and food. If you’re considering a replacement, talk to your veterinarian and be aware that the company is facing a class action lawsuit for falsely advertising its ingredients as healthy. (The company can’t comment on ongoing cases. I don’t feed my cats Blue Buffalo food, but we still love the free service.)

PetDesk is a telemedicine app with special features. Not only does it connect you with your pet’s veterinarian via video chat, but it also provides an easy way to keep track of your pet’s medications, appointments, and other needs.
All your pet’s information in one place, including names and contact information for veterinarians, preferred emergency animal hospitals and groomers. From the home page, you can view what’s open, make calls, visit the appropriate website, and in some cases, request an appointment or initiate a video call directly in the app.
After creating a pet profile, you can keep health records and prescriptions. In the To Do tab, you can create reminders for giving your pet medication, refilling food and supplies, and scheduling inspections. You can also request birthday notifications. While you’ll need a veterinarian in your network to make a virtual appointment, anyone can use the service as a free medical dashboard to keep track of their pets.
