Japanese electronics giant Sharp is returning to the U.S. market with a low-cost, well-equipped smartphone called the Rouvo V.
This sub-$90 phone is Unique to America While many features are entry-level, it does boast some nifty innovations. For example, the Rouvo V’s battery lasts four days on a single charge, with over 100 hours of standby time. That’s a lot of surfing and streaming.

Another standout feature is the 6.5-inch HD+ display. The screen has a 20:9 aspect ratio, making it a great choice for a movie experience while traveling or standing in line at the bank. These cameras support Full HD and include several AI-assisted enhancements to achieve bokeh effects, soften backgrounds, and more.
The remaining specs won’t set the world on fire, but they’ll get the job done. Sharp’s new phone is powered by a MediaTek 1.8GHz quad-core processor, 3GB of RAM and 32GB of memory (expandable to 128GB).

The Rouvo V has IP52 waterproof protection, so it can get rid of water mist and dust pockets, and includes a fingerprint sensor, proximity sensor, ambient light sensor, and more.
Many of these specs are on the lower side, so the price of this phone matches it. The Sharp Rouvo V is priced under $90 and is regularly offered as a prepaid option at Walmart and Dollar General, with Verizon as the primary carrier. The smartphone is now available nationwide.
