Sharing Wi-Fi passwords between Apple devices is easy, but your visitors will need to list their email addresses in your contacts and vice versa. Once in each other’s contact lists, make sure your iPhone and iPad are using the latest iOS, and your Mac is using macOS High Sierra or later. Here’s how to share Wi-Fi passwords between Apple devices:
- Turn on Wi-Fi and Bluetooth on both devices, make sure Personal Hotspot is turned off, and make sure their devices are unlocked and nearby.
- Your device should be connected to the Wi-Fi network you want to share. (If you are sharing a guest network, switch to the guest network.)
- Let your guests choose your Wi-Fi network from a list of options available on their devices.
- You will get a pop-up message on your device asking if you want to share your Wi-Fi password.
