
The fourth and final beta of Android 13 is here, which means the official OS version isn’t far behind.
The beta version of Android 13 has been running developer previews and betas since February of this year, but it looks like the time is running out. Final test run – Beta 4 –now available For everyone who signed up for the beta before or would like to sign up for Early Access. As was the case with beta versions, you may encounter bugs that haven’t been fixed yet, but Google says it implemented platform stability in Beta 3, so it may not be as risky this time around.

This latest beta has completed and optimized everything developers need to test their own applications in the new operating system. In fact, Google is urging developers to get their apps sorted as soon as possible so that they can submit final versions before Android 13 is officially released.
Other changes in Android 13 include added support for larger (i.e. tablet) screens. Multi-window/split-screen mode is enabled by default, and a taskbar is being added to help with multitasking.
Previously registered Pixel users should be able to automatically download the fourth Android 13 beta with today’s update.Otherwise, if you’re interested in checking out Beta 4, you can check it out at Android 13 developer site† As for the official release of Android 13, no specific date has been given, but it is expected to be released sometime “in the next few weeks.”
