happy pride month To all gays! In celebration of this year’s Pride, I’m replaying some of my favorite video games with LGBTQ+ representation. While many modern video game companies strive to diversify their representations, execution sometimes falls short. As a queer person, I value gaming experiences that make me feel included and understood.
After a few hours of dutiful playing, I’ve rounded up eight quality games where LGBTQ+ characters feel natural and have a strong preference for indie studios. This is not a complete list by any means, so use them as a starting point to explore more great queer games from queer creators.
