This is a It’s been a good year for cookbooks, and it’s almost as if the authors have years of pent-up talent waiting to burst. (I wonder why?) In fact, 2022 is such a good year that I sneaked into the mid-year wrap-up as an excuse to write more about them. Now at the end of the year, a pleasant continuation of the theme of what it means to be American, along with some eye-catching and useful design.
