Apple’s 14-inch MacBook Pro (8/10, recommended by WIRED) gets an upgrade inside and out. It has an industrial look, a square chassis, plenty of ports (including a MagSafe port for charging), a beautiful 14.2-inch display with ProMotion (which boosts the frame rate to 120Hz), and a 1080p webcam. Under the hood, the M1 Pro delivers great performance and can handle just about any task you give it. The discount applies to the 1 TB model, but the 512 GB version is also on sale for $1,800 ($199 off).
The 16-inch MacBook Pro (512 GB) offers the same aforementioned features as the 14-inch version. But because of its bulk, it’s not the easiest MacBook to carry around, and it barely fits in most of my backpacks. Still, the extra screen real estate is great, especially if you’re staring at your computer most of the time. The price of this model fluctuates frequently and has dropped to $2,111, but it’s still a good deal.
The Apple Watch Series 7 (8/10, WIRED recommendation) is our favorite smartwatch for iPhone owners, and it’s currently at the lowest price we’ve tracked. Compared to the Series 6, it has a 20% larger display (with a full-size QWERTY keyboard), stronger glass, and improved water and dust resistance. This is an excellent option if you’re looking to upgrade your old Apple Watch or if you’re in the market for your first Apple Watch. The smaller 41mm size is also on sale for $279 ($50 off).

We think the Apple Watch SE (8/10, WIRED recommendation) is the best choice for most people. It comes with a Retina display, an S5 chip (faster than both the Series 3 and Series 5), fall detection and more memory. That’s in addition to standard health and fitness tracking features like heart rate monitoring and exercise mode. But since it’s an entry-level tracker, you won’t get the more sophisticated features included in the Series 7, such as the always-on display, ECG monitor, and SPO2 sensor.
The Apple TV 4K (8/10, recommended by WIRED) is a great streaming device for those loyal to the Apple ecosystem. It includes an A12 Bionic chip for faster performance (and supports HDR up to 60 fps), easy-to-navigate menus, and a redesigned remote a lot of more intuitive to use. It’s also the lowest price we’ve ever seen.
We love the AirPods Max (8/10, WIRED recommendation) for a variety of reasons. They’re sleek, offer great sound and noise cancellation, and integrate seamlessly with iOS devices. They’re also one of the most expensive wireless earphones out there. While they briefly fell to $323 in April, we still think it’s a good deal.
They may not be Cupertino White, but these Beats Fit Pros are associate editor Parker Hall’s favorite Apple-made headphones that will fit most people. They come in a variety of colors, they’re super comfortable, they sound great, and they connect instantly with all your Apple devices, just like standard AirPods (but with a cooler look).

There are plenty of third-party MagSafe chargers on the market, including the ones on sale right now, but you can get the fastest wireless charging with Apple’s own chargers. It attaches magnetically to the back of your iPhone 12 or iPhone 13 and charges your device with 15 watts of power. WIRED review editor Julian Chokkattu said his only complaint was that the cable was a little too short.
MagSafe Duo is perfect for those who own an iPhone and an Apple Watch. Each has its own place where you can use the Duo to charge two devices at the same time. It also folds together seamlessly, making it perfect for travel. It’s also compatible with AirPods (supported devices only) and Qi-certified devices.
Apple’s official MagSafe case is a great addition to your iPhone. It features precise port cutouts, clickable buttons and a slim profile. We also like that it keeps the camera module flush, so it doesn’t wobble back and forth when your iPhone is lying flat on a surface. The case is also available in a leather version.
If you prefer a trackpad to your Mac or iPad’s standard mouse, the Magic Trackpad is a great accessory – I especially like using it with my Mac Studio and Studio Display. It automatically pairs with your device, offers about a month of battery life, and supports Apple’s full suite of Multi-Touch gestures.
