Home Theater Deals
This streaming stick from Roku has always been one of our favorites, and now it’s cheaper than usual. It comes with a Roku voice remote so you don’t have to use a cumbersome on-screen keyboard to find your shows, and the latest version (released in 2021) supports Dolby Vision HDR.
Sony makes some of the best looking OLED TVs on the market, and this display is fantastic. At 48 inches, it’s not one of the largest, but it’s still suitable for a mid-sized living space. Its center stand makes it relatively easy to place; it supports both HDR 10 and Dolby Vision-type HDR; and it has a 120 Hz refresh rate, which is convenient for gamers.
We’re big fans of TCL’s 5-series and 6-series TVs. While the 4-Series used to be underpowered to earn our recommendation, recent models have begun to inherit the specs we’ve loved from previous generations. If you need a smaller TV, like a guest room, this 43-inch model is an excellent budget model.
Home and Kitchen Deals
The KitchenAid Pro 5 Stand Mixer needs no introduction. Still, this is one of the most versatile tools in your kitchen. Its prices tend to be sticky, so when we see it drop that much, we’ll notice.
The original Garmin Instinct has been surpassed by some newer models, but it’s still a solid choice if you’re looking for a GPS-enabled smartwatch with an array of sensors, mapping capabilities, and a rugged case.
The Dyson V11 (8/10, recommended by WIRED) exists in an odd place. While WIRED reviewer Adrienne So called it a “dream vacuum” in her review, it’s been discontinued in favor of newer options like the V15. This makes it hard to find a discount on this vac in the first place, and usually the V11 and V15 are close enough in price that you might as well pay a little more for the V15, but at this discount it’s probably worth it for you to take the older ‘s model.
This 3rd Gen Nest Learning Thermostat is a slightly older model, but they perform surprisingly well, and we love them. With it, you can control heat and air conditioning from your phone, easily set a schedule (it can try to learn based on how you use it), and even remind you when to change your filters.
Headphones and Camera Deals
In our opinion, the Apple Airpods Pro (8/10, recommended by WIRED) are the best earbuds for the iPhone. This may not be surprising, but it’s still a big plus for some earbuds that offer great sound, top-notch active noise cancellation, and instant pairing with iOS devices.
The Apple-owned Beats Studio3 Wireless Headphones (8/10, WIRED Recommended) have been iconic for a few years now, and for good reason. They feature excellent noise cancellation, solid wireless range, and at least 20 hours of battery life per charge.
The Alpha a7 IV (9/10, recommended by WIRED) is the camera of choice for most of us. The Alpha a7 III may be a generation behind that option, but it still has most of the same features (as long as you don’t need an upgraded autofocus system) and is significantly cheaper than the a7 IV.
